Lower Back Pain
Aside from the common cold, low back pain is the number one reason patients seek medical attention. Greater than 80% of the entire population will experience one episode of disabling low back pain at least one time in their life.
At any given time, 25% of the United States population reports suffering from low back pain. The signs and symptoms of low back pain vary. The pain might be constant or only provoked by certain movements, dull, sharp, burning, over one specific point of diffuse over a broad area.
Low back pain may or may not be accompanied by stiffness and or muscle spasms. At Cynergy Physical Therapy, we use the treatment based classification system to help us diagnose and treat low back pain according to the best available evidence based practice.
