Lynn Berman, DPT graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Communications and Economics. He then continued his education at Touro College in Manhattan earning a B.S. in Health Sciences and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). Upon graduation, he was awarded the Academic Excellence Award and the Touro College Distinguished Student Award for his dedication and accomplishments in the physical therapy program and profession. Lynn is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, through which the New York Chapter gave him the notable Student Participation Award in 2009.
While Lynn enjoys treating all different injuries of the body, his passion is with back and neck disorders, rotator cuff injuries, knee and ankle injuries and TMJ.
Lynn believes that the rehabilitation process can be both effective and enjoyable. He works diligently to help his patients fully understand their impairments and all aspects of their care. Lynn works with each patient to help set their goals high, whether it’s pursuing professional sports or simply becoming pain free. He believes there is no greater honor than helping a patient regain a lost function.
A member of the New York Road Runners, Lynn is an avid runner and is also a member of the Mt. Sinai Medical Center ice hockey team.
